Centalion, Komgo Deploy AI Agent for Real-Time Treasury Ops
Centalion's AI treasury agent integrates with Komgo's Konsole platform to cut trade finance processing times while preserving human oversight.
Centalion and Komgo have joined forces to embed agentic artificial intelligence into real-time treasury operations, the two firms announced from Geneva on October 14, 2026. The collaboration centers on an AI treasury agent built by Centalion and deployed directly within Komgo's Konsole platform through a Model Context Protocol connector.
The integration targets a persistent bottleneck in trade finance: the time required to process financing instruments. By introducing an AI agent capable of acting autonomously on structured data, the companies aim to compress workflows that have traditionally demanded significant manual intervention from treasury teams.

Despite the automation at the core of the solution, both firms emphasized that human governance and approval mechanisms remain fully intact. The architecture is designed so that the AI agent handles operational throughput while human decision-makers retain final authority, a structure increasingly sought by regulated financial institutions navigating compliance requirements.
The deployment reflects a broader industry shift toward agentic AI — systems that can initiate and complete multi-step tasks without continuous human prompting — moving from pilot projects into live treasury and trade finance environments. Komgo's Konsole platform, already positioned as infrastructure for commodity trade finance, provides the operational rail over which Centalion's agent runs.
