Vanda Pharmaceuticals Posts 24% Revenue Jump in Q3 2026
Vanda Pharmaceuticals reported $69.8M in Q3 2026 revenue, a 24% year-over-year gain, while cutting operating expenses and advancing a Phase III drug trial.
Vanda Pharmaceuticals recorded total revenues of $69.8 million in the third quarter of 2026, a 24% increase compared to the same period a year earlier and a 38% surge from the prior quarter, according to the company's latest financial results.
Operating expenses fell sharply during the period, declining 18% to $93.3 million compared to the second quarter of 2026, a sign that management is working to narrow the gap between revenue growth and cost containment even as the company remains unprofitable on an operating basis.

The results were accompanied by a clinical milestone: Vanda announced positive data from a Phase III study of its NEREUS™ candidate, which targets the prevention of GLP-1-induced side effects. The GLP-1 drug class has drawn intense commercial interest industrywide, and a companion therapy addressing tolerability concerns could open a meaningful market opportunity for the company.
The back-to-back quarterly revenue acceleration, combined with the Phase III readout, positions Vanda to make a case to investors that its pipeline is beginning to translate into tangible financial momentum. Analysts will likely focus on the pace of operating expense reduction and the regulatory pathway for NEREUS™ in the quarters ahead.
