Bybit Expands Proof-of-Reserves to 10 New Tokens, Assets Reach $19.6B
Bybit's 40th PoR report adds 10 tokens to its reserve coverage, with mainstream asset value reaching $19.6 billion as of September 23, 2026.
Bybit, the Dubai-based cryptocurrency exchange serving more than 80 million users globally, released its 40th Proof-of-Reserves report, expanding coverage to include 10 additional tokens and reporting mainstream asset value of $19.6 billion, according to data reflected as of September 23, 2026.
The Proof-of-Reserves framework is a transparency mechanism used by centralized exchanges to publicly verify that customer funds are held on a one-to-one basis. By publishing cryptographically verifiable snapshots of reserve holdings, exchanges aim to demonstrate solvency without requiring users to rely solely on self-reported financials.

The latest report marks Bybit's continued expansion of its PoR program, which has grown in frequency and scope since industry scrutiny over exchange solvency intensified following high-profile collapses in the crypto sector in prior years. Adding new tokens to the audited reserve pool broadens the range of assets independently accounted for on the platform.
Bybit describes itself as a "New Financial Platform" and the $19.6 billion mainstream asset figure underscores the scale of holdings now subject to its reserve verification process. The inclusion of 10 new tokens signals the platform's intent to align its PoR coverage more closely with the breadth of assets traders hold on the exchange.
